ABOUT THE ROLE :

We are currently in the process of establishing a new, independent servicing business at Spinny, with the mandate to fundamentally organize and transform the highly fragmented vehicle servicing market in India.

As part of this vision, Spinny has also acquired GoMechanic, strengthening our capabilities in the servicing ecosystem. By combining technology, standardized processes, and a large service network, we aim to build a reliable, transparent, and scalable vehicle servicing platform for customers across India.

This initiative will have one important sub-vertical/business :

Automotive Styling/Accessories Business :

- Automotive styling and accessorising market is bound to take-off and there is a white space for an organised player to solve this just like the interiors business of housing has been done.

- This will include individual accessory elements and also make-over of the car. So this business will be both a product+service business.
The incoming leader will have ownership across the following areas :

- Defining the Strategy : Develop the strategic roadmap for the sub-vertical by identifying market opportunities, defining the value proposition, and outlining the long-term growth plan for the business.

- Execution Plan : Translate the strategy into a clear execution roadmap, driving key initiatives, partnerships, and operational milestones to successfully build and scale the business.
- Organization Design : Design and build the team required to run the sub-vertical, including defining roles, hiring key talent, and setting up the right processes and operating structure.
- Owning the P&L : Take end-to-end responsibility for the financial performance of the sub-vertical, including revenue growth, cost optimization, and overall profitability.

- The incoming leader will be responsible for the mandate of launching, running, and scaling the business from 0-1 and subsequently from 1-10.

- This will involve building the sub-vertical from the ground up-defining the strategy, setting up the operating model, and establishing the initial team and partnerships.

- As the business gains traction, the leader will focus on scaling operations, strengthening processes, and driving sustainable growth.

- The role requires a hands-on approach to build a strong foundation while evolving the business into a large, well-structured and profitable vertical over time.
