Cash Apps Assistant

• Accurately apply daily cash receipts to customer accounts, ensuring all payments are processed in a timely manner.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, working closely with customers and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all cash transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and customer accounts to ensure alignment and accuracy.
• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly cash application reports.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with the accounts receivable team to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Support audit processes by providing documentation and explanations as required.
• Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to cash application and accounts receivable.
• Bachelors degree in commerce or business administration.

• MBA Finance mandatory
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Understanding of transaction processing, data analysis.
• Experience in Computerized Accounting systems will be a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Good excel skills, e.g. using pivot tables to analyze and report on large volumes of data, v look ups)
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
• Attention to detail, high level of accuracy.
• Good verbal & written communication skills
• Strong team and collaboration bias
• Willingness to learn and ask questions in a positive, non-confrontational manner
• Flexibility to stretch the shift as per business needs and sometimes to work on weekends.
