Vice President - Investments

JOB DESCRIPTION - VP (Investments)
For SEBI registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) with a target corpus of INR 750 crore and supports entrepreneurs in consumer, healthcare, food, climate, technology and sector agnostic businesses (20% of fund size) in the middle stages of growth. The fund invests in cheque sizes of INR 40-70 crore.
The fund promotes an informal work culture and a sense of camaraderie among its team members.
Position: Vice President (Investments)
Reporting to: Managing Partner
Key Responsibilities:
- Intensive research of the focus areas of the Fund- healthcare, food, consumer, climate and technology.

- Deal origination and evaluation.
- Tracking of market trends and developments.
- Preparation and review of deal documents such as Investment Memorandum, issuance of Term Sheets, drafting of Shareholder Agreements etc.
Candidate background:
- 5-15 years of relevant working experience in venture capital/private equity investments at leading funds.
- Team player.
- Strong networking skills.
- Strong academic credentials (preferably MBA/PGDM) from top tier institutions.
- Prior experience in focus areas would be a plus.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Comfortable in handling ambiguity.
- Strong research capability.
Remuneration:
Competitive. The remuneration would be on a Cost to Company basis.
