As a Sales Account Executive at Stark.ai, you will be instrumental in driving business growth and establishing our presence as a leader in the EdTech industry. Your responsibilities will include acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and building lasting relationships with decision-makers in educational institutions, universities, and corporate clients. This role demands a strategic mindset, strong sales skills, and the ability to work independently while contributing to the overall team success.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Lead Generation:
- Identify and engage new business opportunities in the EdTech sector, including K-12, higher education, and corporate training.
- Create a robust pipeline of qualified leads through various strategies such as networking, cold calling, email outreach, and industry events.
Sales Presentations & Product Demos:
- Conduct high-level sales conversations and customized product demonstrations for potential clients.
- Articulate the value proposition of Stark.ai's solutions, showcasing how they address the specific needs of educational institutions and corporate clients.
- Collaborate with prospects to understand their challenges and provide tailored solutions.
Account Management & Relationship Building:
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations, ensuring their ongoing success and satisfaction with Stark.ai's products.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring a seamless post-sale experience.
Negotiation & Deal Closure:
- Lead contract negotiations, manage pricing discussions, and close sales while aligning with client expectations and revenue goals.
- Coordinate with legal and finance teams to ensure timely contract execution.
Collaboration With Internal Teams:
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver value and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Share valuable client feedback to guide product development and market strategies.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to create customized proposals for high-value accounts.
Sales Strategy & Reporting:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet annual revenue targets and expand market share.
- Monitor and report on sales activities, opportunities, and results in the CRM system.
- Provide regular updates and forecasts to senior management on sales performance and key opportunities.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed about EdTech industry trends, competitor products, and customer needs to refine sales strategies continuously.
- Utilize industry knowledge to identify new market opportunities.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- 6-15 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management in the EdTech industry.
Skills & Competencies:
- Demonstrated ability to close high-value deals.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the EdTech sector, including LMS, digital learning platforms, and educational technology.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on creative solutions.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in selling SaaS, learning management systems, or digital learning tools to educational institutions or corporate clients.
- Familiarity with the Indian EdTech landscape and connections within the educational sector.
