Who we are looking for

This Assistant Vice President position will be a part of the Product Owner for Foreign Exchange & Global Treasury (FX & GT) team and will be responsible for executing complex portfolio of initiatives across Foreign Exchange & Global Treasury (FX & GT) products for State Street Global Markets (GM) Operations. The role will encompassing broad aspects of the business: new product, geographic and product expansion, operations infrastructure, design and implementation of operations models, reporting, and risk oversight. Engage with GM partners, Global Technology, Compliance, Legal, Trading, Operations, and others, to execute the portfolio. Lead a small team of program / project managers and business analysts.

What you will be responsible for

As Product Owner for FX & GT – Assistant Vice Present, you will

  • Responsible for managing the application lifecycle across internal, industry, market and regulatory changes
  • Be the Product Owner for select FX & Global Treasury applications and become the single point of contact for tech & business for change & transformation
  • Collaborate with Markets & Financing Operations (MFO), Front Office (FO) and Technology, make strategic decisions that affect the overall product and/or scope of project
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business and partner requirements in order to recommend solutions and options.
  • Maintain and prioritise the product backlog
  • Produce plans, roadmaps (milestones and timelines) and status updates and communicate to stakeholders
  • Document business outcomes, requirements, process flows and re-engineering
  • Partner with Technology in an agile approach, create use cases, backlog, epics and stories
  • Coordinate testing and business adoption
  • Successful product delivery to MFO and/or FO that meet business outcomes
  • Resolve significant issues or roadblocks to projects, working with Senior management across the bank..
  • Identify and frame risks and issues to project execution, as well as ensure their timely resolution or escalation.
  • Manage internal relationships and communications with business partners.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders with varied interests.
