Python Senior Backend Engineer

About The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Python Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing technology team. This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems for a next-generation weather forecasting product. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across India and the United States.
Key Responsibilities
 Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs.
 Modify and enhance existing API endpoints to meet evolving business needs.
 Build new API endpoints to support new product features.
 Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability.
 Contribute to backend architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
 Collaborate with frontend engineers, backend engineers, and product
managers.
 Ensure high-quality code through testing, documentation, and adherence to
best practices.
 Develop and enhance data processing workflows, including geospatial data
handling.
Required Qualifications
 5–7 years of strong backend development experience.
 Proficiency in Python and backend development frameworks.
