Job Description
We are seeking an experiencedRegional Sales Managerto drive sales growth for our Recon traffic surveillance and analytics platform. This role will focus on building relationships with system integrators, government agencies, and key stakeholders in the transportation infrastructure sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B/B2G technical solution sales with experience in smart city, surveillance, or infrastructure technology projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Recons traffic surveillance and analytics solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with system integrators who participate in government tenders (NHAI, state highway authorities, municipal corporations)
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities across highway and urban traffic management sectors
- Monitor upcoming infrastructure projects and government tenders to position Recon solutions early in the procurement cycle
- Create compelling value propositions for different deployment scenarios (highways, urban intersections, commercial areas)
- Prepare and present detailed technical and commercial proposals tailored to client requirements
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with system integrators and direct clients
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to develop customized solution architectures
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline information in CRM system
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned territory
- Track national and state-level infrastructure development plans for highways and smart cities
- Monitor competitor activities and maintain knowledge of market trends
- Provide market feedback to product management teams to guide feature development
- Develop territory-specific strategies to address regional opportunities and challenges
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
- Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to ensure satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities
- Coordinate with implementation teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Build relationships with decision-makers at system integrators and government agencies
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or related technical field (MBA preferred)
- 7-10 years of B2B/B2G sales experience with at least 3 years in technology solutions for government/infrastructure sector
- Proven track record selling complex technical solutions to system integrators or government agencies
- Experience with surveillance systems, traffic management, IoT solutions, or smart city technologies
- Understanding of government procurement processes and tender requirements
- Familiarity with the transportation infrastructure ecosystem in India
- Experience building channel partnerships and managing system integrator relationships

- Project management skills to coordinate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory (50-60% travel expected)
