Position: Language Editing / Style Editing

Job Summary:

As a Trainee Language Editor / Style Editing, you will be responsible for learning and assisting in editing and improving manuscripts, articles, and other content to meet international publishing standards. You will undergo training to enhance your skills in grammar, style, technical accuracy, and clarity of written English. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals aspiring to build expertise in academic and professional publishing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and edit manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and consistency.
• Enhance authors text to improve the overall readability of research articles.
  
• Eye for detail to identify poorly written text.
• Check for language grammar and in-house style (capitalization, spaces, quotation marks, dashes, vocabulary and spellings etc.) using tools
• Improving text flow.
• Raise author queries where required and incorporate changes accordingly.

Desired Candidates:

• Science Graduates from 2024 & 2025 passed out (no standing arrears) are preferred
• Good command of the English language and grammar rules
• Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Job Title: Trainee (Full Time)

Shift Timing (Rotational):

1st Shift: 6.00AM to 1.30PM

2nd Shift: 1.30PM to 8.45PM
