The Role
Were seeking a highly skilled backend engineer with 7-10 years of experience in building resilient and scalable systems. As a core member of our engineering team, youll take ownership of designing, building, and deploying production-grade solutions that solve challenging problems. This role will lead to either a Head of Engineering (Management track) or Principal Engineer (Individual Contributor track).
What Youll Do

• Design, build, and optimize highly scalable and reliable systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and production-quality code in Python (experience in Go, C, or Rust is a plus).
• Work with cloud platforms (GCP/VPCs), on-prem infrastructure, Kubernetes, and modern big data tools (Kafka).
• Design and manage database architectures, including relational (MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze needs, propose solutions, and deliver results ahead of expectations.
• Mentor team members, contribute to hiring, and help shape our growing engineering culture.
• Drive technical execution with a focus on quality, timelines, and innovation.
