Job Description

As an experienced Java developer with a strong background in REST API development, you will play a key role in our team by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient REST APIs. Your primary responsibilities will include creating robust REST APIs using Java, focusing on scalability, performance, and security. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting APIs using tools like Swagger, writing and executing unit tests and integration tests, and troubleshooting issues using tools such as Postman.

Collaboration is a crucial aspect of this role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, QA engineers, and product managers. Your participation in code reviews will ensure that coding standards and best practices are followed consistently throughout the development process.
To excel in this position, you should have 3-6 years of Java development experience, with a specific emphasis on REST API development. Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development is essential, along with a solid understanding of database management systems, including relational and NoSQL databases. Knowledge of API security best practices, familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban, and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud would be advantageous.
