Job Description
What role you will play in team: Support the indirect tax team by performing various tasks related to GST, customs duties, and other indirect taxes.
What you will do: You will assist in the preparation and filing of indirect tax returns, ensure compliance, conduct reconciliations and analyze data.
Key responsibility:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of indirect tax returns (GST, Customs, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with relevant indirect tax regulations.
- Conduct periodic reconciliations of indirect tax accounts.
- Analyze indirect tax data and identify areas for improvement.
- Support in the preparation of tax audits.
- Liaise with external tax consultants as needed.
Required Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in indirect taxation.
- Strong understanding of GST, Customs, and other indirect taxes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant tax software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
