Job Description

  • Identify and generate leads for residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects.



  • Visit potential customers, explain solar solutions, benefits, payback period, and financing options.



  • Prepare and present proposals/quotations to customers.



  • Coordinate with technical team for site surveys and installation support.



  • Follow up with clients to close deals and achieve monthly sales targets.



  • Maintain good customer relationships for repeat sales and referrals.



  • Stay updated with solar industry trends, state subsidies, and DISCOM/net-metering policies.



  • Handle both online and offline enquiries (field visits, tele-calling, social media leads).

  • Required Skills & Competencies
    A. Technical & Sales Skills

    • Basic understanding of solar power systems, inverters, panels, and installation processes.



    • Knowledge of solar subsidies, net metering, and government policies.



    • Familiarity with CRM tools, lead management, and reporting systems.



    • Strong presentation, negotiation, and deal-closing skills.



    B. Soft Skills

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



    • Ability to convince and influence potential customers.



    • Strong problem-solving and customer service orientation.
