About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Procurement to lead our Procurement department. This role is crucial in ensuring that our materials and services are procured efficiently, on time, and at the best cost. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement strategies, supplier relationship management, and cost reduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and implement Planning, Sourcing, and Procurement strategies.

Set objectives, delegate tasks, and monitor progress within the team.

Establish procurement procedures and policies in line with company strategy.

Report to the Leadership Team on procurement activities and performance.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

Source new suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships.

Negotiate contracts and manage supplier agreements.

Conduct business risk management and implement mitigation plans.

Support new product development and engineering changes.

Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

Drive continuous improvement through cost reduction projects.

Ensure all procurement and planning activities meet budget, schedule, and performance requirements.

Qualifications:

Masters degree or higher in Procurement or Supply Chain.

Technical knowledge of engineering, operations, and product development.

12+ years of experience in Sourcing or Procurement.

Advanced analytical skills and ability to interpret data.

Strong customer focus with a sense of ownership and accountability.

Proven ability to prioritize and perform in a demanding environment.

Excellent project management and leadership skills.

Ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.

Experience in managing, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.

Experience:

Proven experience as a Sourcing or Procurement Manager.

Experience with Electronics & Mechanical commodities.

Experience in a highly regulated environment is a plus.
