Role Overview
We are looking for a Head of Sales & Strategic Growth who can lead Supple Pack's next phase of growth by building a strong sales strategy, developing strategic customer relationships, and creating sustainable business opportunities.
This is not a role focused on selling at any cost. We believe the best customer relationships are built by understanding customer challenges deeply and creating solutions that deliver value.
The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, customer understanding, technical curiosity, and commercial capability to help customers solve packaging challenges while creating long-term partnerships for Supple Pack.
You will work closely with the CEO and leadership teams to identify opportunities, build solutions, and drive profitable growth.
What You'll Own
1. Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
- Value-Driven Sales Strategy: Devise and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth while maintaining healthy margins
- Research-Led Business Development: Approach prospective customers with thorough research and a clear understanding of how Supple Pack can add value
2. Key Account & Relationship Management
- Long-Term Partnerships: Personally manage and deepen relationships with senior procurement, packaging development (R&D), and supply chain heads at enterprise accounts.
- Problem-Centric Consultation: Engage customers by understanding their business priorities, challenges, and future requirements - design solutions that solve real problems for the customer.
3. Cross-Functional Problem Solving
- Operational Deep-Dives: When a customer faces an issue deep-dive into the technicalities, collaborating directly with our Plant Heads, QA, and toolroom teams to engineer a root-cause solution.
- Sales & Operations Alignment (S&OP): Work closely with plant production planners to ensure sales forecasts align with shop-floor capacities.
4. Sales Management
- Build sales processes around opportunity tracking, forecasting, pipeline management, customer reviews
- Establish sales dashboards and periodic reviews
- Provide leadership visibility on market trends, opportunities, and risks
What we are looking for
- 8-10 years of experience in B2B sales / business development, preferably in packaging, plastics, FMCG supply chain, or related manufacturing industries
- Strong understanding of rigid plastic packaging, injection moulding, blow moulding, caps, jars, bottles, or similar products preferred

- Experience managing large corporate customers and complex buying cycles
- Strong business understanding with the ability to connect customer needs with operational solutions
- Comfortable working closely with manufacturing, quality, and technical teams
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently
