Objective:?As a Junior QA Automation Engineer, you will assist in designing and executing automated software test procedures. You will collaborate with Developers and Project Managers to identify key features for testing and help track bugs affecting software functionality. Additionally, you will contribute to developing well-structured test plans and cases.

You will support the investigation of software issues and assist in ensuring software quality. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn automation frameworks will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Planning, prioritizing and executing testing activities, including Manual testing until the feature is stable.
• Coordinating with the Design team to discuss verification protocols
• Helping identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application
• Suggesting automated software test procedures
• Pointing out problem areas
• Preparing automation scripts
• Communicating with the development team to implement software applications
• Designing and handling the installation of software databases
  
• Troubleshooting automation software issues
• Coordinating with the System Analyst to finalize system procedures
• Creating test plans and cases
• Preparing detailed test reports
• Prioritizing and executing tests
• Reviewing technical specifications and design documents
• Conducting regression testing when needed
• Monitoring assurance metrics and process results

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related
• Previous 2 to 4 years of work experience as a QA Engineer, QA Tester, or relevant position in the IT department
• Complete understanding of automation systems, APIs and databases
• Basic understanding of Testing Methodologies.
• Good to have: Exposure to Automation Testing using Python/Java with Selenium.
• Hands-on experience in Test Management & Defect Tracking Tools.
• Experience in Requirement Analysis, Test Planning, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Practical knowledge of Functional UI Testing.
• Good to have: Understanding of Performance Testing.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail
