We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile GCP Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team as a Qwiklabs Lab Architect. The ideal candidate will possess deep, hands-on expertise across a broad spectrum of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, combined with exceptional technical communication and presentation skills.

This role is perfect for a professional who has excelled either in a customer-facing cloud consulting capacity or in developing and delivering high-level (L300+) technical training content for experienced architects and developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Implementation: Architect, deploy, and manage complex, scalable, and secure solutions using a broad range of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• 
  Infrastructure Management: Maintain and troubleshoot cloud environments, demonstrating mastery of system-level operations.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop, debug, and maintain robust automation using Bash scripts and Python to streamline infrastructure and application deployment processes, often leveraging CI/CD pipelines (e.g., via GitHub Actions).
• Data & ML Solutions: Design and implement data analytics and machine learning infrastructure, utilizing services like BigQuery, JupyterLab, and Vertex AI.
• Containerization & Networking: Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and implement secure, efficient virtual networking solutions, including Virtual Networking and Firewalls.
• Technical Leadership & Communication: Lead technical design meetings and working sessions with experienced internal and external stakeholders to define solution architectures and handson lab requirements balancing required outcomes and platform or project constraints.
• Documentation & Training (Consulting/Training Focus): Consulting Track: Deliver professional services engagements, guiding customers through design, migration, and optimization of their Cloud environments.
• Training Track: Create high-quality, in-depth L300 and L400 technical training content and hands-on lab exercises for experienced support engineers, cloud architects, and developers.

Required Technical Qualifications

• Significant hands-on expertise with a broad range of Cloud services, ideally Google Cloud
• Platform (GCP) services, including: Kubernetes (GKE), Analytics Databases (BigQuery), Object
• Storage ( Cloud Storage ), Virtual Networking, and Firewalls.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language, preferably Python, and familiarity with SQL
• and Javascript.
• Deep familiarity with Linux distributions (e.g., Debian, Ubuntu) and advanced skills in system
• administration, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in writing, debugging, and maintaining Bash scripts for system automation.
• Experience with development workflows, including Git for version control and collaborative
• development.
• Direct experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions.
• Practical experience working with data science/ML tools such as JupyterLab and Vertex AI.
