Job Summary
The Sales Manager - LCL Consolidation will be responsible for driving sales growth in Air and Ocean LCL consolidation services by acquiring new customers, managing key accounts, and expanding market presence. The role focuses on developing profitable business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and coordinating with operations and overseas partners to deliver efficient logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for LCL consolidation services in Air & Ocean freight
- Identify and acquire new customers through market research, cold calls, meetings, and networking
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts to maximize revenue and retention
- Promote weekly / regular LCL consolidation services across key trade lanes
- Prepare and negotiate competitive quotations, contracts, and service agreements
- Coordinate closely with operations, pricing, and overseas agents to ensure smooth shipment execution
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and profitability goals
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and CRM updates
- Participate in trade shows, customer visits, and business development events
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Air & Ocean freight forwarding and LCL consolidation
- Proven B2B sales and business development expertise in logistics
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships
- Strong understanding of trade lanes, INCOTERMS, and pricing structures

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding / LCL consolidation sales
- Existing customer base and industry contacts preferred

- New customer acquisition
- Revenue and gross profit from LCL consolidation
- Customer retention and repeat business
- Achievement of sales targets
