Job Description

Job Summary

The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers and managing existing accounts across air, ocean, and land freight services. The role focuses on business development, customer relationship management, and offering end-to-end logistics solutions tailored to client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics services
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts to ensure long-term partnerships
  • Promote air, ocean (FCL & LCL), and inland transportation solutions
  • Prepare and negotiate quotations, contracts, and service agreements
  • Coordinate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution
  • Conduct regular customer meetings and business reviews
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and profitability goals
  • Maintain accurate customer data, sales pipelines, and reports in CRM systems

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations and pricing
  • Proven B2B sales and business development experience
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Good understanding of INCOTERMS, trade lanes, and logistics documentation
  • Result-driven with strong problem-solving abilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 3–6 years of experience in freight forwarding sales
  • Existing customer base and industry contacts will be an advantage

  • Revenue and gross profit achievement
  • Customer retention and repeat business
  • Sales target performance
