Role OverviewURVA Consulting is hiring an Accounts & Trade Compliance Manager for Agro Africa Trading Company, a Mumbai-based agro commodities trading firm.
The role will be responsible for managing India books of accounts, GST compliance, trading accounting, and coordination with the Dubai office for financial reporting and transaction tracking.
The position requires a hands-on accountant with strong trading industry understanding, capable of managing financial records, compliance, banking limits, and operational reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain complete books of accounts in Tally ERP
Manage GST filings, compliance, and reconciliations
Prepare stock reconciliation and trading profitability reports
Manage banking transactions, CC/LC limits, and bank documentation
Coordinate with Dubai office on accounting entries and trade transactions
Monitor import-related financial entries, duty payments, and documentation
Prepare MIS reports for management review
Ensure statutory compliance and financial accuracy
Support business owner with financial visibility and operational insights
48 years accounting experience in trading companies
Strong knowledge of GST compliance and returns
Hands-on experience with Tally ERP

Experience in inventory accounting and stock reconciliation
Exposure to bank limits / LC / CC / trade finance
Understanding of import trading transactions
Strong Excel and MIS reporting skills
Candidate must be based in Mumbai
Practical trading industry accountant
Comfortable managing numbers, compliance, and trade transactions
Strong understanding of inventory-driven businesses
Able to coordinate with international offices and banking partners
