Job Description
- You are an experienced Business Analyst with 7-10 years of experience, specializing in Energy & Commodities Trading. You possess a deep understanding of systems engineering concepts, Agile methodologies, and have proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Your role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions that align with trading and risk management objectives.
Your responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements specific to energy and commodities trading. You will analyze and model current business processes, data flows, and system architectures to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, you will translate business needs into functional specifications, ensuring alignment throughout the software development lifecycle. Supporting product owners and development teams within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe is crucial, as well as facilitating requirement traceability from inception through delivery and testing phases.
You will conduct impact analysis, risk assessments, and feasibility studies for trading solutions, engaging with developers, designers, and software suppliers to ensure solutions meet both business and technical requirements. Your involvement in defining test strategies, acceptance criteria, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) will be essential. Providing domain expertise in energy and commodities trading, contributing to solution design and decision-making, and preparing clear and comprehensive documentation for stakeholders at all levels are vital aspects of your role.

Your mandatory skills include a strong understanding of systems engineering concepts, solid experience with Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Agile tools, a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving, exceptional attention to detail and precision in documentation, as well as strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. You will also be driving continuous improvement initiatives within the business analysis function.,
