We seek a transformational leader to shape our Cybersecurity Operations capabilities, managing people, processes, and technology across multiple security domains.
Role
The Cybersecurity Operations Manager provides overall management of people, process, and technology capabilities within the Cybersecurity Operations organization. This role provides leadership and oversight for the activity within the:
- 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Incident Response & Recovery / Forensics
- Cyber Threat Intelligence/Insider Risk
- Identity & Access Management (IDAM)
- IT Resiliency (BC/DR)
- Manage 24/7 SOC, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, IDAM, and IT Resiliency
- Implement and oversee cybersecurity technologies and practices
- Act as cybersecurity service/product owner, managing vendor relationships
- Lead Cybersecurity Centers of Excellence and service delivery
- Set vision and roadmap for cybersecurity capabilities
- Manage executive relationships and drive strategic initiatives
- Provide leadership to security teams, including performance management
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Continuously improve SOC capabilities and processes
- Communicate security status to all levels of the organization
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years progressive experience in cybersecurity
- 3+ years supervisory experience
- In-depth knowledge of modern security concepts and technologies
- Experience with EDR/XDR, SOAR, and SIEM tools
- Experience with Email Gateway Security
- Threat Intelligence hunting and implementation
- MITRE ATT&CK knowledge
- Experience with Next-Gen Proxy and Firewalls
- Vendor/contract management experience
- Financial acumen e.g. CapEx and OpEx budgeting
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Works well under pressure
- Detail-oriented and analytical
- Excellent communicator
- Self-motivated learner
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Cybersecurity certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA)
- Agile methodologies experience
- DevSecOps knowledge
- Energy sector experience
- Service design and management expertise
- Project delivery experience
