The Cloud Operations team at Syniti delivers 24x7x365 support for all SaaS & Hosting customers globally. This team is responsible for managing and supporting the cloud operations environment on a daily basis, ensuring the uptime, performance, and high availability of all systems supporting customers within the SaaS & Hosted environments. The ecosystem consists of multi-tiered applications, microservice architectures, containers, virtual servers, and large, complex multi-terabyte SQL database systems, spanning both private and public cloud hyperscalers like AWS.
The Senior Cloud Operations Engineer plays a crucial role in application lifecycle management and support, leveraging experience in Cloud Operations or managed service delivery environments. Responsibilities include overseeing and supporting Cloud Operations systems and applications, handling incidents and requests via the Syniti customer ticketing portal, and resolving issues within defined SLAs.

In this role, you will take ownership of administering, optimizing, and scaling virtual servers (Windows and Linux), containers, and container orchestration systems (such as Kubernetes, Docker) to ensure high availability and resilience in multi-cloud/hyperscaler environments like AWS. You will diagnose, analyze, and resolve cloud infrastructure-related issues, oversee service delivery activities, design and manage system deployments, propose strategic improvements, and mentor junior engineers.
To succeed in this role, you should have 4+ years of experience in job-specific skills, ITIL aligned service delivery organizations, Infrastructure support, Windows and Linux server administration in AWS, supporting containers and Kubernetes in AWS, network support, and customer-facing roles. Strong communication skills, troubleshooting capabilities, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and alignment with Syniti's core values are essential.
