Legal Counsel

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and business-oriented Legal Counsel at TAC Security. The role involves advising on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and cybersecurity-related legal matters while enabling business growth in a fast-paced tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Management:
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including NDAs, vendor contracts, client agreements, SaaS contracts, and partnership agreements.
• Regulatory & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including data protection, cybersecurity, and IT laws (e.g., Labour Laws, Indian IT Act).
• Legal Advisory:
• 
  Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders on business operations, risk mitigation, and strategic initiatives.
• Corporate Governance:
• Support corporate legal matters including board documentation, statutory filings, and corporate structuring.
• Risk Management:
• Identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, especially in cybersecurity and data privacy domains.
• Litigation Management:
• Coordinate with external counsel on disputes, litigation, and regulatory matters.
• Policy Development:
• Draft and implement internal legal policies, compliance frameworks, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Law (LLB); LLM preferred
• 4–8 years of relevant legal experience (law firm or in-house, preferably in tech/cybersecurity)
• Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and data protection regulations
• Experience handling international contracts is a plus
