- Payroll Manager
Position Summary :

The Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations for the organization, ensuring timely and accurate salary processing, statutory compliance, employee reimbursements, and payroll reporting. The role requires strong knowledge of payroll laws, taxation, HRMS systems, and coordination with HR, Finance, and employees across business functions within an ICT Distribution environment.
Payroll Processing :

- Manage monthly payroll processing for all employees across branches/locations.
- Ensure accurate processing of salaries, incentives, bonuses, overtime, reimbursements, full & final settlements, and statutory deductions.
- Validate attendance, leave records, variable payouts, incentives, and salary revisions before payroll closure.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for payroll inputs and approvals.
Statutory Compliance :

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, Gratuity, Bonus, and Labour Laws.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory filings and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities during audits or inspections.
- Maintain payroll records and compliance documentation.
Taxation & Benefits :

- Manage employee tax declarations, investment proofs, and annual tax computations.
- Process Form 16 generation and support employees on payroll and tax queries.
- Administer employee benefits, insurance, and related payroll impacts.

Payroll Controls & Reporting :

- Prepare payroll MIS, headcount reports, salary cost analysis, and variance reports.
- Ensure payroll accuracy, confidentiality, and internal controls.
- Support budgeting, manpower planning, and payroll forecasting exercises.
- Identify and implement payroll process improvements and automation opportunities.
HRMS & System Management :

- Manage payroll software/HRMS operations and employee data integrity.
- Coordinate with system vendors for issue resolution and enhancements.
- Ensure accurate employee master data management.
Employee Support :

- Address employee queries related to salary, taxation, reimbursements, and deductions.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and exit payroll formalities.
Desired Candidate Profile :
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, HR, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR or Finance preferred.

Get Hired

- 12-14 years of payroll experience, preferably in ICT Distribution, Technology, Electronics, or Trading organizations.
- Experience handling multi-location payroll and large employee base preferred.
Required Skills :

- Strong knowledge of Indian payroll laws and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS/payroll software such as SAP , HRONE , Keka etc
- SAP Payroll software experience mandatory
- Good understanding of payroll accounting and taxation.
- Advanced Excel and MIS reporting skills.
- High accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
