Role Overview:
As the Lead Supply & Retail Planning, you will be at the forefront of optimizing our supply chain and ensuring seamless product availability across our retail network. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Finance to develop and execute comprehensive supply and retail plans. You will be responsible for forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient distribution to meet customer needs. This role directly impacts customer satisfaction by ensuring product availability and drives business growth by optimizing inventory and minimizing costs. This position is based in Mumbai and requires a strong on-site presence to facilitate collaboration and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply and retail planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and meet customer demand across all retail channels.
- Lead the demand forecasting process, leveraging historical data, market trends, and promotional plans to accurately predict future sales and ensure adequate supply.

- Manage inventory levels across the supply chain, balancing the need to minimize holding costs with the imperative to avoid stockouts and lost sales.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to align supply plans with promotional activities and new product launches, ensuring smooth execution and optimal results.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement in supply chain efficiency and retail performance, driving continuous optimization.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, fill rates, and forecast accuracy, identifying and addressing any deviations from targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners to ensure reliable supply and efficient distribution.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply and retail planning professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the implementation of advanced planning systems and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy, inventory management, and supply chain visibility.

- MBA from Tier 1 college only
- 10-15 years of experience in supply chain management, retail planning, or a related field.
