Director Metals & Mining Consulting - Big4 / Big3

Experience Required: 12+ years of relevant experience

Looking forStrong Delivery focused Director having experience across metal or mining industry along with consulting, will lead strategic consulting engagements across the Metals and Mining domain, driving business transformation, operations excellence, and digital enablement. The role involves managing projects, solutions, and teams across large-scale transformation programs, with deep domain expertise in metal processing, mining operations, and downstream manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end consulting engagements from strategy to implementation across Metals and Mining clients.
  
• Drive digital-led transformation initiatives to improve productivity, OEE, and operational efficiency.
• Design and implement Finance & Operational Transformation, Cost Optimization, and Asset Maintenance strategies.
• Develop and roll out client-centric solutions, deepen key account relationships, and enhance firm brand value.
• Contribute to thought leadership, solution development, and practice growth.
• Manage project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes within budget and timelines.
• Lead workforce planning, capability building, and futureproofing of the team.

Metals Focus

• Expertise in metal processing, downstream manufacturing, and maintenance excellence across Steel, Aluminum, Zinc, Lead, Copper, etc.

  Get Hired
• Experience in Sinter operations, Blast Furnace, Smelter operations, Production planning, and Flat & Long product manufacturing.
• Familiarity with TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, and digital tools like Blackline, SAP S/4HANA, BI dashboards.

Mining Focus

• Deep knowledge of Underground/Open Cast mining operations for Coal, Lignite, Iron Ore, Bauxite, Copper, Zinc, and other minerals.
• Experience in Mineral beneficiation, HEMM maintenance, Mine planning, Drilling & Blasting, and Safety protocols.
• Expertise in mineral block auction strategy, financial due diligence, and feasibility assessments.
