Job Description
- The Business Development Manager role requires 4-8 years of experience and is based in Coimbatore. As a Business Development Manager, you should possess knowledge in digital/IT sales & marketing, presales, lead generation, and have experience in bidding and proposal posting. It is essential to have expertise in Social Media Marketing and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Your main responsibilities will include procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing department. Attending networking activities to research and connect with potential clients is also crucial. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain strong relationships with existing clients, suggest upgrades or additional products and services, and craft business proposals and contracts to increase revenue. Negotiation skills will be essential to secure competitive prices with clients.
In this role, you will need to be dynamic, sales-target oriented, and possess good business analytical skills to understand client project requirements. A positive attitude, the ability to create reports and presentations, and familiarity with all products and services offered by the company are also necessary. Equipping staff with technical and social skills to enhance sales, reviewing client feedback, and staying updated on consumption trends to ensure the relevance of our offerings are additional responsibilities.
