Job Description

The Director of HR will play a key role in shaping the organizations HR strategy and fostering a positive, high-performance culture. This individual will lead HR functions to align with the companys goals, while also ensuring efficient operations, and developing innovative solutions to attract, develop, and retain top talent. The Director will work closely with senior leadership to drive HR programs that enhance employee experience, performance, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Management:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain high-performing employees.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives to ensure the companys growth and success.
  • Design and execute robust performance management processes that drive accountability, engagement, and growth.

Learning & Development:

  • Create and implement a continuous learning culture across the organization, ensuring employees have the tools and resources to grow.
  • Lead the development of leadership and professional development programs to foster a highly skilled workforce.
  • Identify skill gaps and introduce development programs tailored to the needs of the business and employees.

Employer Engagement & Culture:

  • Champion employee engagement initiatives that align with the organizations values and foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Lead employee satisfaction and feedback surveys to drive actionable insights for improving the work environment.
  • Develop strategies to enhance employee retention through tailored engagement and recognition programs.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Lead the compensation and benefits strategy to ensure market competitiveness, employee satisfaction, and alignment with company objectives.
  • Oversee salary benchmarking, compensation reviews, bonus and incentive programs, and benefit offerings.
  • Provide guidance on executive compensation and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

HR Operations:

  • Oversee all HR operational activities, including HRIS management, payroll processing, employee records, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Streamline HR processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and a seamless employee experience.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and HR best practices.

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure HR strategies are aligned with the business vision and goals.

    Monitor HR metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 18+ years of HR experience with a focus on talent management, learning & development, employer engagement, compensation & benefits, and HR operations. Prior experience at a senior leadership level is essential.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Masters degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong expertise in developing and executing HR strategies and programs across various HR functions.
  • Excellent understanding of compensation and benefits practices and their impact on talent attraction and retention.
  • Proven ability to manage complex HR operations, with an eye for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to influence senior leadership and drive organizational change.
  • Advanced knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
