Role Overview

The Senior Scrum Master will be responsible for leading Agile teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions, particularly within large-scale and complex projects. This role will facilitate Agile processes, ensure effective sprint execution, and drive continuous improvement within the development teams.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Leadership:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Act as a mentor and coach for Scrum teams, ensuring Agile principles and best practices are followed.
• Guide teams through Agile transformations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Project & Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to refine and prioritise the product backlog.
• 
  Identify and remove impediments to team progress, ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of business objectives and technology solutions.

Process Optimisation:

• Implement and optimise Agile methodologies across teams to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Use Agile metrics and reporting tools to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning within the teams.

Risk & Issue Management:

• Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure effective communication of project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and encourage collaboration among team members.

Qualifications and Experience

Technical & Agile Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.

Get Hired
• Ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies effectively and drive high-performing Agile teams.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a track record of managing multiple Agile teams.
• Experience leading Agile teams in enterprise environments, preferably within large-scale projects.
• Prior experience working on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) projects is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with senior leadership.

• Ability to drive collaboration and teamwork across cross-functional teams.
• High adaptability to evolving business and technology needs.

Certifications (preferred):

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II).
• SAFe Agilist (SA) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification.
• Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or equivalent.
