Senior Financial Analyst

Position : Financial Analyst
Location: Buena Vista, FL Hybrid

Description:
We are looking for a candidate at a financial analyst level with an accounting degree, 2 to 3 years of experience, and knowledge of inventory accounting.
Supports the Domestic Parks Inventory Reporting Team
Partners with various line of business partners to provide accounting guidance and hierarchy assistance
Processes journal entries, prepares account reconciliations, and assists with ad-hoc reporting requests and/or projects related to inventory accounting
Supports business decisions with financial information and analysis

Completes monthly/quarterly close processes and prepares supporting Balance Sheet & P&L analysis for team leadership
Ensures compliance with GAAP and SOX guidelines
Assists with interim and year end Accounting Firm audits

Basic Qualifications:
Most of the day-to-day activities will be participating in inventory project meetings.
Strong knowledge of general accounting, internal controls and close process
Ability to prepare and present information to support decision making
Strong analytical and writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)

Good interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
Core fundamental knowledge required to assess reasonableness of business partners variance explanations
Strong working knowledge of PC-based software applications, including Microsoft Office
