Specialist - Record To Report - US GAAP/COE/GBS

Role Summary:
The RTR / R2R Analyst/Consultant/Manager will perform Record to Report activities under US GAAP within the Centre of Excellence (COE) team of the Bangalore GBS Organization. The role ensures accurate financial recordkeeping, reporting, and compliance with organizational standards and GAAP. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate reports, analysis, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting standards.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing activities.

- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights.
- Support audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards.
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required.
- Continuously improve RTR processes and standardize reporting practices within COE.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (CMA), or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Candidates with significant RTR experience under US GAAP will also be considered.
