About the Role

Audit and evaluate suppliers according to prevailing, specified, program requirements and determine and establish surveillance levels to be deployed at suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Review customer PO to determine the program specific customer flow down, PO notes.
• Review and approve supplier quality plans per customer requirements and PO requirements, POs to ensure necessary and sufficient information is stated on the PO to suppliers.
• Review and monitor turnbacks/complaints to suppliers, flow down turnbacks reported by customer to supplier where applicable.
• Review and establish process controls required to improve supplier quality and ensure checkpoint, controls to prevent quality escapes to TASL.
• Conduct RCCA with suppliers to eliminate quality process errors by issue of Corrective actions requests, monitoring and verification effectiveness of CAPA.
• SCAR NC management status monitoring, closure and effectiveness follow-up.
• Support and provide inputs to source deputed personnel for suspect parts, guide configuration and quality updates.
• Ensure Supplier Quality improvement plan support, review and follow-up.
• Supplier Delegation Approval, monitoring and requalification process.
• Ensure Source Inspection Acceptance Criteria and perform, support customer for source inspection.
• Perform FAI/PFAI/DFAI Approval for Suppliers and NC management of Suppliers.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Aero/Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 2-6 Years in Aerospace Industry

Required Skills

• Aware of the Corporate Procedures, QMS knowledge, PCF knowledge.
• System, Process and Product - Quality Auditing process.
• Knowledge on internal Audit function, Internal Audit and External Audit.

Preferred Skills

• ISO 9001, AS9100 requirements, Aero-structure Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Management systems.
• Airworthiness Regulation - EASA, FAA etc.
