Job Description
- The Manager- Physical Security Services in Kolkata will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of the company's physical security measures to protect personnel, property, and critical assets from potential threats. This includes access control, surveillance systems, perimeter security, and emergency response protocols to ensure the safety and security of the organization's facilities and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Assessment and Security Planning:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify potential security risks and threats.
- Develop and implement comprehensive physical security plans and policies to mitigate risks.
- Design and implement security measures for buildings, perimeters, and critical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Real Estate, Facilities, and project teams on office designs to align with industry best practices and physical security standards.
Security Project Management:
- Manage the project management of physical security system installations or upgrades.
Access Control Management & Security Systems Management:
- Implement physical and electronic access control measures, including employee cards and visitor management procedures.
- Manage employee access levels and assign appropriate security clearances.
- Design, install, maintain, and monitor physical security systems in alignment with security standards and strategies.
Surveillance And Monitoring Systems:
- Install and maintain CCTV cameras, intrusion detection systems, and other surveillance technologies.
- Monitor security camera feeds and respond to alerts promptly.
- Review Control Room operations and analyze records maintained by the Control Room.
Security Personnel Management:
- Recruit, hire, and train security guards and officers.
- Supervise security personnel and ensure adherence to established security protocols.
- Evaluate performance and provide feedback to security personnel.
- Conduct periodical reviews with security agencies and implement SLA.
Emergency Response And Incident Management/Investigations:
- Develop and practice emergency response procedures for various scenarios.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during incidents.
- Investigate security incidents, breaches, and losses, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Budget Management:
- Plan and manage the physical security budget, including equipment, maintenance, and personnel costs.
- Evaluate new security technologies and recommend procurement.

- Drive value with effective contract management for security and related services.
Audit & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to security and fire-safety regulations and industry standards.
- Generate regular security reports and present findings to senior authorities.
- Ensure functional compliance with certifications and standards like ISO, TL 9000, etc.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and enforce applicable labor laws.
