Job Description
When you think of food delivery in the MENA region, we’d be pretty surprised if talabat didn’t pop into your mind first! Since delivering our first order in Kuwait in 2004, we’ve grown quite a lot over the past 17 years.
Today, we deliver hundreds of millions of food orders, grocery items and other products per year, to our customers in nine countries throughout the region with more than 3,000+ employees! Our food delivery business works with over 27,000 brands and almost 50,000 branches, while our q-commerce concept, talabat mart, now delivers groceries to customers in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman Qatar, and the UAE in 30 minutes or less!

Since its inception in 2020, we have facilitated the donation of well over 1 million meals to those in need, as well as donated over $1.5 million to charity with the help of our partners and customers. talabat is part of Delivery Hero, the global leader in online food delivery and q-commerce.
Role Summary
As part of the regional Pricing team you are responsible to support all 8 local markets to become Pricing Power champions. The objective is to drive the pricing awareness and sophistication to ensure profitable growth across the region. You will work towards establishing and maintaining close relationships with Local Pricing teams to ensure smooth collaboration as well as regular knowledge exchange.
What's On Your Plate?
Research trends and best-practices from within and outside the industry
Support in writing A/B test plans and help managing them end to end - incl. implementation, analysis and communication
Gather findings of pricing experiments and formulate actionable recommendations
Program customer surveys and analyze results
Perform data queries and run analyses
Become expert in operating our best-in-class dynamic pricing tool, resolve simple requests coming from Local Teams and give ad-hoc support
What Did We Order?
Bachelor’s degree. STEM and Economics backgrounds are highly preferredLooking to get Placed? Try our Placement Guarantee Plan
Proficient with SQL required
2 years’ experience, analytical roles in tech start-ups and/or in pricing highly preferred
Strong business acumen, and statistics knowledge.
Very strong analytical skills and problem-solving with complex data sets
Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to drive complex ideas and process to diverse people across markets and teams
Highly proficient in Microsoft; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (or Google equivalents)
