Finance Officer

Purpose - Why does this role exist?
The Position is responsible for the routine as well as specialized F&A and Documentation activities.
Position reports to Lead Finance & Accounts Inspire Institute of Sport

Critical Tasks

• of Accounts while ensuring compliance with necessary Tax and other laws, filing of returns, ensuring Budgetary control, and monitoring expenditure.
• a strong Management Information System and Internal Control systems. A strong base in IT systems & software would be required.
• entries in the books for receipts and expenses
• 
  out regular Bank Reconciliations for the various Banks
• of Donor reports, Fund Utilization Reports, issuing 80G and CSR receipts
• Audit queries to Internal and external auditors
• statutory compliance for payment of TDS and GST and uploading returns within due dates
• tracking and vendor/creditor management
  

Educational Background and Work Experience
Inter CA with a minimum of 4+ years of work experience
Competencies

• understanding of accounts, finance & cost with an emphasis on final accounts & reconciliation
• in being part of statutory compliances & audits

  of software used for finance, e.g. Tally, SAP (relevant modules), etc.
