Quality Assurance Team Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Lead with strong expertise in Security Testing, Performance Testing, and Compliance Validation. The ideal candidate will lead the QA function, ensuring products meet the highest standards of security, performance, and regulatory compliance.

• Lead and manage QA activities across multiple projects, ensuring test coverage, quality standards, and timely delivery.
• Design and execute comprehensive security testing plans to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
• Plan, develop, and conduct performance testing to validate system stability, scalability, and reliability under load.
• Perform compliance testing against applicable standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.).
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, Development, and Security teams to ensure secure, high-performing, and compliant releases.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for functional, regression, security, and performance testing.
• Define and track QA metrics, analyze defect trends, and drive process improvements.
• Oversee defect management and participate in root cause analysis sessions.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and testing methodologies in security and performance domains.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on QA experience, including 2+ years in a lead or senior QA role.
• Mandatory experience in Security Testing and Performance Testing.
• Strong knowledge of security testing methodologies and tools (e.g., OWASP Top 10, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, SAST/DAST tools).
• Proven experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or Locust.
• Experience with compliance testing and understanding of frameworks like ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, or SOC 2.
• Hands-on with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and QA integration within DevOps processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001 LA/LI, or ISTQB Advanced Level.
• Experience in API and Cloud Security Testing (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Prior exposure to data privacy and regulatory audits.
