Analyst / Sr. Analyst - BI (MS Access)

Role and Responsibilities

• Should be able to work as an individual contributor and create tables, forms, and generate reports using Microsoft Access.


• Maintain good relationship with stakeholders.


• Should be proactive to learn new skills per business requirement.


• Familiar with extraction of relevant data, cleanse and transform data into insights that drive business value, through use of data analytics, data visualization and data modeling techniques.


• Implement all activities in line with agreed budgets and timescales.


• Understand business challenges & opportunities and identify where customer data could help support business decisions.

Preferred Skills Must have:

Should have EXCELLENT knowledge on:

• Advanced knowledge of MS Access (Forms, Tables, and Reporting)
  


• Experience of developing user interface and database management in MS Access
  


• 
  Good Data Visualization skills preferably MS PowerBI.
  


• Good knowledge of SQL and Excel.
  


• Strategic understanding – ability to connect data, analytics and strategic thinking.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy of output.


• Strong data and analytical skills & track record of delivery


• Data analysis, Business analysis


• Critical-thinking and problem-solving


• Ability to present compleinformation clearly and professionally to a variety of audiences.


• Ability to work cross functionally to prioritize, schedule and work to deadlines.


• Keeping up to date with the latest tools and trends.


• Good understanding of the underlying key sales metrics.


• Monitor analytics and metrics results


• Implement new data analysis methodologies


• Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies


• Database management and reporting


• Excellent verbal and written Communication skills


• Review and validate customer data as it’s collected


• Cooperate with IT department to deploy software and hardware upgrades that make it possible to leverage big data use cases

Good to have:

• Python & R.

Work Experience: 3 years of relevant experience
