Senior HR Executive
Ahmedabad · Reports to AM – Ahmedabad / HR Director · Full-Time Permanent
Experience
4–8 years of experience in HR (Talent Acquisition + HR Generalist)
About the Role
This is a full-ownership HR role, not an assistant position. The selected candidate will independently manage end-to-end HR operations for the Ahmedabad office, including Talent Acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, employee lifecycle management, exit processes, and HR governance.
We are looking for someone proactive, sharp, presentable, and execution-oriented — someone who takes initiative, communicates confidently, remains highly organized, and demonstrates complete ownership of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & CTC Management
- Own and maintain the ATS tracker with timely updates after every HR discussion, offer release, and joining.
- Conduct CTC benchmarking before every HR discussion using the internal compensation database.
- Independently manage HR discussions including:
- CTC negotiation
- Role presentation
- Expectation setting
- Joining timeline discussions
- Ensure all discussion outcomes are properly documented.
- Manage pre-offer engagement:
- Assign SPOC within 24 hours of HR selection
- Conduct connect calls within 48 hours
- Ensure no offer is released without a documented candidate connect
- Own backout management:
- Log all backouts within 24 hours
- Conduct exit/connect calls within 48 hours
- Prepare monthly backout analysis reports
- Identify and escalate red flags related to:
- Cultural fit concerns
- Compensation mismatches
- Background verification concerns
- Complete escalation forms within 1 hour and escalate critical concerns to reporting managers on the same day.
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Management
- Own end-to-end onboarding for all Ahmedabad-based new joiners.
Ensure completion of:
- System access
- Buddy allocation
- Team introductions on Day 1
- Project clarity discussions by Day 7
- Feedback collection at Day 30, 60, and 90
Collect and verify all mandatory onboarding documentation, including:
- Offer Letter
- Appointment Letter
- Notice Period details
- NDA
- USR
- BGV documents
- Educational back papers
- Personal and emergency contact information
Conduct structured Day-1, Day-30, Day-60, and Day-90 employee check-ins covering:
- Project alignment
- Policy understanding
- Manager relationships
- Finance/admin concerns
Escalate employee concerns to the reporting manager on the same day.
Manage the probation confirmation process by:
- Tracking timelines
- Sending reminders
- Ensuring timely closure
Drive PMS follow-ups and reminders to ensure appraisal cycles are completed within timelines.
Ensure buddy allocation is completed at least 5 days before joining.
Brief delivery managers before the employees Day 1.
Compile and track monthly onboarding experience scores based on Day-30 feedback.
Review and address any onboarding experience score below 7 within 5 working days.
Employee Engagement & Culture
Own and execute the annual engagement and CSR calendar for Ahmedabad.
Publish the annual engagement calendar by May each year with defined:
- Dates
- Owners
- Budgets
Drive initiatives around:
- Employee wellness
- Mental health awareness
- Positive workplace culture
- Fun and creative engagement activities
Coordinate bi-weekly culture and engagement posts with the Marketing team.
Ensure creative quality and employee branding standards are maintained.
Schedule exit interviews within the first week of every employee notice period.
Ensure Reliever NDA completion during exit formalities.

Who We Are Looking For
Must Have
- 3–5 years of HR experience covering both Talent Acquisition and HR Generalist responsibilities — not limited to administrative work.
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end hiring independently, including HR discussions, salary negotiations, and offer rollouts.
- Experience conducting 30/60/90-day employee connect sessions.
- Comfortable handling CTC negotiations independently.
- Experience preparing and maintaining HR reports such as hiring trackers, exit analysis, attendance reports, etc.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills with confidence in professional meetings.
- Strong ownership and follow-through mindset with excellent documentation practices.
- Based in Ahmedabad.
Strong Advantage
- Operational experience with Keka HRMS.
- Experience managing employee engagement calendars and culture initiatives/events.
- Hands-on experience conducting exit interviews and compiling actionable insights.
- Prior experience working in IT services, technology, or product-based organizations.
- Experience working within a small, fast-paced HR team environment.
