We are currently seeking Legal Counsel India to join our team based in Noida/Gurugram, India.
Reporting lines and interactions:

• Functionally to the OC Legal Director.
• Directly to Senior Legal Officer.
• Job Purpose: To provide wide-ranging legal counseling to the business and operations activities of the relevant Operating Center (OC) of Technip Energies (T.EN) through pro-active and effective legal support. The Operating Center for this position is INDIA.
• The subject matter scope for the role would include all legal matters of the OC including, but not limited to, draft, review, negotiate, close transactions and agreements as per business requirement. It is a multi-faceted exposure to corporate laws, contract laws, real estate laws, labour laws and supporting role in arbitration and litigation.
• The Legal Counsel shall ensure that his/her scope, as well as the activities of the OC to which he/she participates, are carried out in compliance with the applicable Companys rules and standards and shall be responsible to champion and implement all relevant procedures and processes to such effect.
• About the Job Provide day-to-day advice and counsel on legal matters of the business.
• Research and opinion on legal matters of the business.
• 
  Engage with T.EN key stakeholders to build partnerships and foster a strong business and technical understanding of the business requirements.
• Participate in and/or lead contracts negotiations with clients and partners.
• Manage reviews with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, commercial intermediaries, etc.
• Follow and implement the processes prescribed by the internal requirements, in partnership with other functions as the need may be.
• Initiate and/or support changes for the enhancement of the legal program and department as part of T.ENs continuous improvement efforts, in collaboration with subject-matter experts.
• Participate in managing litigations for the organization.
  

About You
Wed love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements: Minimum:

• Bachelors Degree in Law required, other qualification/certification is a plus.
• 6-9 years of post-qualified experience in a multi-state law firm or multinational company.
• Strong written (including contract/legal drafting) and oral communication skills in English
• Good team player with the ability to build strong inter-disciplinary partnerships across the organisation.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiasm, and the ability to engage with an audience.
• Demonstrate pragmatic thinking and a problem-solving mindset.

Work Environment:

• Spends most time at the office at the OC location.
• Fast paced atmosphere with multiple priorities and constant change.
• Some travels will be required within India to visit offices or project locations.
