Job Description
- Role Overview:
As a Software Test Engineer, your main responsibility will be to conduct manual testing of internal and vendor-supplied software and systems, particularly focusing on smartphones and telecommunications products. You will be involved in tasks such as writing test plans, debugging, performance testing, executing test cases, and analyzing test results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write test plans based on requirements, specifications, and test strategies.
- Debug and identify root causes of issues.
- Plan, create, debug, and execute performance tests.
- Design, execute, and review test cases and scripts.
- Conduct GUI testing, functional and regression testing, and use tools like Test Director.
- Perform manual testing for websites and mobile applications (iPhone/Android, 2D & 3D Game / Web applications).
- Prepare detailed reports on test results and quality issues for analysis.
- Report results to the QA manager.
- Raise alerts for critical issues that may jeopardize the project.
Qualifications Required:
- Strong ability to conduct root cause analysis.
- Deep understanding of QA processes, including test case preparation and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in using versioning systems for coding test scripts.

- Experience in creating and executing test campaigns as per project planning.
- Familiarity with bug tracking databases for reporting issues.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
