Loan Servicing

Responsible for processing loan drawdowns, rollovers, and rate fixing for all bilateral and syndicated loan transactions booked across entities in Hong Kong, Singapore, Labuan, Taiwan, Tokyo, and Sydney.
The role involves coordinating with Treasury traders for funding and rate fixing, reporting fund movements to the Treasury settlements team, disbursing loans to clients, and recording drawdown and rollover details in the Loan IQ system.
Key responsibilities include preparing accounting entries, processing fund disbursements, liability bookings, customer payments, and settlements within the assigned portfolio.
Monitor the receipt of principal installments, interest, and fees, and follow up on any outstanding payments under the assigned portfolio.
Arrange disbursements to risk participants, insurance companies, participating banks, and other contracted parties.
Support the Loan Syndication team in loan sell-down activities (both primary and secondary markets) and assist with deal settlement processes.
Maintain and update all administrative records of borrowers and lenders within the Loan IQ system.
Provide operational support to APAC offices in preparing various operational and periodic reports.
Technical Skills Required

• Ability to review documentation and extract operational information from facility agreements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong working knowledge of Loan IQ (mandatory)
• Experience in preparing RTGS, CHATS, SWIFT payments, and RMB cross-border payments
• Familiarity with systems such as Flexcube, Calypso, Matisse MSC, and Summit will be an added advantage
  

Qualifications And Experience

• 35 years of relevant experience in an international bank, preferably within Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) operations
• Good understanding of financing products, particularly loan products
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
