About Tecnod8.AI

Tecnod8.AI is an early stage, full stack Agentic AI Startup. We are building a core AI Engine for Industrial Engineering. Tecnod8.AI is supported by Maruti Suzuki Accelerator, FITT-IIT Delhi, NASSCOM GenAI Foundry, IIT Mandi Catalyst and iHub & IIM Bangalore NSRCEL.

Role Overview

Work on building production-grade Gen AI and agentic AI applications. Opportunity to contribute to LLM development in later phases.

Role:

• Develop and deploy Gen AI applications using modern LLM frameworks
• Build agentic AI systems with multi-step reasoning and tool use
• Design and implement RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) pipelines
  
• Optimize prompts and fine-tune models for specific use cases
• Work on LLM evaluation, testing, and performance monitoring

Required Skills

Mandatory:

• Strong Python programming (3+ personal/academic projects)
• Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, or open-source models)
• Understanding of context/prompt engineering and LLM limitations
• Familiarity with vector databases
• Git version control

Tech Stack:

• LLM Frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack
• Vector DBs: Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, or FAISS

  ML Libraries: PyTorch or TensorFlow (basics)
• APIs: OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, HuggingFace
• Tools: Docker (basic), REST APIs

Preferred:

• Knowledge of transformer architecture and attention mechanisms
• Experience with fine-tuning LLMs (LoRA, PEFT)
• Understanding of agent frameworks (AutoGPT, LangGraph, CrewAI)
• Familiarity with embedding models and semantic search
• Prior Gen AI projects or hackathon participation

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing B.Tech/M.Tech in CS/AI/ML or related field
• Final year or pre-final year preferred
• Strong problem-solving and self-learning ability
