Job Description
- As a member of the Tejas wireless team, you will be part of a group that has developed high-capacity LTE macro eNodeB, 5G NR gNodeB, and Radio Units for end-to-end integrated solutions for our customers. Our systems are currently operational in commercial networks, and our engineers are dedicated to enhancing capacity and improving system-level performance.
Tejas Networks has been investing in Wireless product development since 2012, aiming to create globally deployable telecom RAN solutions. Key components developed by the Wireless R&D team have been successfully deployed and commissioned across three continents. We are actively engaged in the 5G ecosystem in India and have made significant contributions to India's standardization efforts in 3GPP through TSDSI. The wireless team holds over 100 patents, and as a member of this team, you will be involved in developing products for next-generation wireless systems.
Your role as a Senior Engineer will involve contributing to product development and delivery, encompassing planning, requirement analysis, design, implementation, validation, verification, and field testing. You will analyze and prioritize various features for different sub-systems to ensure synchronized system delivery in a phased manner. Collaboration with other teams and partners will be essential for system integration and user acceptance testing. Your focus will be on continuously enhancing system performance through quality deliverables.
The mandatory skills for this role include hands-on experience with various RRM-related algorithms such as coverage, capacity optimization, interference mitigation, admission control, and performance optimization. You should also possess strong design and implementation experience in RRC, S1AP, and X2AP protocols, along with a good understanding of Layer1 and Layer2 configuration and capabilities. Knowledge in advanced SON and 5G NR RAN protocols is desirable, as well as experience in debugging complex real-time issues and log file analysis.
Desired skills include familiarity with technologies like ICIC, ANR, Mobility optimization, Resource Management, admission control, S1AP, X2AP, SCTP, SON, and 5G RAN protocols.
Preferred qualifications for this position include a minimum of 6 years of experience in the Telecommunication or Networking field and a degree in B. Tech /BE (CSE/ECE) or an equivalent qualification. Proficiency in C/C++ coding is also a valuable asset for this role.,
