Job Description
- The job requires you to lead QA activities in the telecom industry in Yangon, Myanmar with 4-8 years of experience. You will define and implement test strategies, plans, and test case designs, execute complex test cases, and support defect analysis. Coordination of test planning and execution across multiple teams, leading daily defect triage meetings, and ensuring proper RCA and closure are essential responsibilities.
You should be capable of making decisions under pressure, resolving conflicts, managing stakeholders, and communicating test risks with business teams. Tracking and reporting test progress, quality metrics, and resource utilization, collaborating with various teams, mentoring junior members, and advocating best testing practices are also key responsibilities.
Furthermore, you will estimate testing efforts for new features, define and track quality KPIs, work with customers and 3rd-party vendors, manage incidents and defects, plan test delivery, and manage milestones. The qualifications required include a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, 10+ years of testing experience with 3+ years in a leadership role, and relevant certifications like ISTQB Advanced Level and Certified Agile Tester.

You should have a strong understanding of STLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies, experience with SQL for backend validation, and hands-on experience with tools like Selenium/WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, or Cypress. Knowledge of performance testing tools, security testing, API testing tools, Git/Jenkins, and familiarity with telecom testing environments would be advantageous. Good communication and documentation skills, and experience with test management tools like JIRA are also necessary for this role.,
