Job Description
- As a Backup and Storage Admin, you will be responsible for performing daily monitoring and management of the backup environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing problem management and incident correlation on re-occurring issues
- Creating and providing reports for backup and storage environments, related activities, and tasks
- Creating and updating documentation for backup environments
- Being an escalation point on all backup issues
- Performing change management and incident management for backup and archiving infrastructure
- Monitoring, escalating, and remediating NAS & SAN device/application alerts to identify potential incidents
- Providing storage provisioning for NAS/CAS/SAN systems
- Configuring and administering support and expertise as it relates to the storage environment as needed
- Implementing, maintaining, monitoring, performance tuning, and upgrading Network Attached Storage (NAS) environment

- Troubleshooting for NFS/CIFS protocol on NetApp and EMC Isilon storage arrays
- Understanding and troubleshooting the SMB, NFS, and CIFS shares networking protocols
Qualifications Required:
- BE/B.Tech/Graduation
