Opening For T24 Business Analyst - Payments (Techno Functional)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Temenos Lead Business Consultant with strong functional knowledge of T24 (R16) particularly in Accounts, Customer, Data Capture and Funds Transfer modules, to lead the creation of Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for a complex SaaS-based payments integration project.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with SaaS payment solutions, real-time account processing, and integration layers. Your primary responsibility will be to translate business requirements into clear, comprehensive FSDs that bridge business needs and technical implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders (business, technical, and operations teams) to gather and analyse business requirements.
• Create detailed and structured Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for payment flows, account locking mechanisms, and transaction processing in T24.
• Map out end-to-end payment journeys, especially where payments are processed through external SaaS systems, but account locking and posting are managed in T24 (using the Data Capture module).
• Ensure that real-time balance updates are maintained for transactions outside the SaaS platform by leveraging T24's account locking and entry passing mechanisms.
• Define requirements and use cases related to:

o T24 Accounts, Customer and Data Capture modules
o SaaS payments solution integration
o T24 Data Capture module and booking logic
o Various integration layers (API, MQ, batch interfaces, etc.)
• Liaise with technical teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with R16 T24 architecture.
• Participate in design walkthroughs, peer reviews, and solution validation sessions.
• Ability to work independently with minimum guidance.
• Support the development and testing teams with clarifications and change requests.

Required Experience & Skills:
• Proven experience writing Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) in banking and financial services.

• Strong working knowledge of T24 (version R16), specifically Accounts and Customer modules.
• Deep understanding of T24 Data Capture, Booking, and real-time account locking mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience in projects involving SaaS-based payment solutions.
• Experience in designing or supporting integration layers (REST APIs, SOAP, middleware, messaging queues, etc.).
• Strong understanding of real-time payment flows, ledger postings, and transaction lifecycles.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with strong documentation and process mapping skills.

Nice to have
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to payments and banking.
• Knowledge of Temenos Transact frameworks e.g., R16 TCIB, Funds Transfer Module
