Senior Embedded System Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and debug complete embedded systems, including both hardware and firmware components.
• Work on schematic design, component selection, and PCB-level debugging.
• Develop robust and optimized firmware using Embedded C for microcontrollers such as ESP32, ATMega, etc.
• Integrate peripherals, sensors, and communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO).
• Perform unit testing, hardware validation, and support QA/testing teams during integration and system-level testing.
• Collaborate with architects in defining technical specifications and system-level architecture.
• 
  Lead or support prototyping activities and PoC development.
• Ensure performance, stability, and compliance with design requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation for designs, firmware releases, and test procedures.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Embedded C programming and hardware design knowledge.
• Practical knowledge of ESP32, ATMega, and similar microcontrollers.
• Hands-on experience with schematic tools, PCB design review, and debugging instruments (oscilloscope, logic analyzers, etc.).
• Familiarity with JavaScript and Python for automation or interfacing scripts.
• Good understanding of MQTT protocol, JSON data structures

Preferred / Added Advantage:

• Experience with cloud integration (AWS, Azure etc) in IoT environments.
• Exposure to IoT ecosystem and protocols (HTTP, OTA updates).
• Familiarity with RTOS or FreeRTOS based development.
