Telesto Energy is developing enterprise-scale vertical SaaS for upstream oil, gas, and carbon storage. StartUs Insights has named Telesto as one of the top five global companies in predictive analytics for the upstream oil and gas sector.

Telesto Energy is looking for an experienced and result oriented professional to develop an AI-driven SaaS platform for upstream oil and gas machine learning models and data engineering solutions. This position reports directly to the CTO.

This is a permanent position located at Telestos Regional Technology Centre in Tidel Park Special Economic Zone, Coimbatore, India.

Lead a team of ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Developers, Testers, Cloud Engineers, and Data Management Engineers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in subsurface, petroleum engineering, and specialties.

Collaborate with Software Development Teams for product design finalization, validation criteria, and testing scenarios.

Work together with stakeholders to achieve software development goals aligned with the companys digital strategy.

Develop detailed product roadmaps outlining functional and technical scope.

Create, implement, monitor, and deliver project plans.

Identify key technology challenges, infrastructure requirements, and deployment scenarios.

Finalize workflows, prepare flow diagrams, and outline tasks for product development.

Lead the timely and high-quality execution of the digital portfolio by leveraging internal and external resources.

Job Requirement

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field from a well-known university or college.

Proven track record of 10+ years in digital transformation leadership roles, with a significant focus on the oil and gas industry.

Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.

Must Have Skills

Proven expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and tools.

Deep understanding of the SaaS business model and experience driving digital initiatives within a SaaS environment.

Track record of successfully delivering complex digital transformation projects on time and within budget.
