Job Description
Job function and sub function:
- Conduct product feasibility with vendors and internal CFT.
- Stamping parts process review and method plan finalization.
- Tooling layouts, process commonization, Tooling DAP before tooling kick-off.
- Tooling investment estimation and Zero based costing for FTG to submit to Sales.
- Tooling cost negotiation with vendors and optimization in the investment.
- Stamping process innovation to achieve lowest manufacturing cost.
- Tool life monitoring for all running models and control on PM to avoid tooling breakdown.
- Support Supplier Development team during the ICA/PCA related to quality complaints.
- Perform Lean workshops at suppliers end.
- Manage supplier relationship.
- Provide technical expertise to customers in solving technical problems associated with product supply and test facilities.
Reports to (role): Senior Manager Global Purchase
Works closely with:
PP Buyers, SD, Plant Quality, Engineering and Suppliers.
Location: Chakan, Pune

Skills and capabilities (leadership and/or functional):
- Min experience of 12 to 15 years in Stainless Steel Stamping tooling.
- Hands on experience in the Stamping Simulation software.
- Experience of Stainless-Steel stamping processes, Pipe bending and welding is must.
- Knowledge of press tools, gauges and fixture development is a must.
- Experience about Product and Tooling costing is must.
- Tooling concept designing knowledge.
