Job Description
- Are you someone who resonates with code and GenAI At IXG, we are in the process of developing the fastest cloud-native platform for remote video production and live media transport, and we are currently seeking a Full-Stack JS Developer to contribute to shaping the future of how media is distributed.
As a Full-Stack JS Developer at IXG, your responsibilities will include building fast and scalable APIs using Node.js along with Express. You will also be tasked with creating intuitive and reactive frontends utilizing frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Svelte. Collaboration with product, design, and media tech teams to implement new features, focusing on enhancing performance, scalability, and stability across our technology stack, will be an integral part of your role. Additionally, your input on architectural decisions and participation in peer reviews will be valued contributions.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 2 years of full-stack experience working with JavaScript/TypeScript, demonstrate strong backend proficiency in Node.js and Express, and have frontend experience with at least two modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular (extra consideration for Svelte). A solid understanding of REST APIs, web architecture, and HTTP is essential, as well as familiarity with Git, team collaboration, and agile workflows. Experience with databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL is also required.
Additional qualifications that would be considered advantageous include having previous experience in shipping apps using Svelte, familiarity with tools like Vite, Webpack, or Rollup, understanding of JWT, OAuth, and basic DevOps workflows, enthusiasm for working with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress, and a keen interest in AI-assisted coding and utilizing GenAI tools in your daily workflow.
